Preparing for the Launch of Our First Active Aging Event

As part of the KA210 Active Aging and 4 Ways to Kick Post-Retirement Depression project, we are preparing for the first international activity that brings together older adults from Spain, Italy, Turkey, and Germany. Last week, we were pleased to welcome Olga, our dedicated ambassador for active aging, to the TeneLearning office in Tenerife.

Olga, who brings valuable perspectives as a senior woman with a migration background, shared her personal experiences and the challenges she faces in everyday life. These insights are essential in shaping a programme that genuinely responds to the needs and realities of the participants.

The upcoming course will explore themes such as personal purpose through the IKIGAI concept and invite participants to reflect on their learning and development using the Awareness Notebook. The aim is to foster not only knowledge but also empowerment and connection.

Active Aging in the making

The first activity begins on April 8, 2025, and is hosted by TeneLearning Educational Center. We look forward to welcoming our international participants and sharing more as the journey unfolds.
